[Obituary of Mrs. Henry Clausen in Caledonia Argus newspaper: Feb 14, 1903. Vol. 24. No 12: Mrs. Henry Clausen, whose death was briefly mentioned in our last issue, was born in Hanover, Germany, in the year 1828, and came to this country with her parents when quite young. The deceased was a resident of this county for a number of years, having made her home with her son, August Leuhrs, of this city, since the death of her husband in 1901. Six children are left to mourn the untimely loss of a good and loving mother: August Leuhrs, Mrs. F. J. Palen and Mrs. Wm. Kasten of Caledonia: Fred Leuhrs of Lyons, Nebr; Mrs Peter Close of Staples, Minn.; and Mrs. Geo. Oelshig, of La Crosse. The funeral was held Tuesday from the Lutheran church of this place. Rev.
